Inventories

The pre-sale inventory consists of listing, documenting, and valuing all the items you intend to entrust to Guette’s Auction. It is a professional file that includes:

• photographs taken from several angles,
• detailed descriptions (material, dimensions, dating, condition),
• replacement values to guide the sale process,
• a structured, signed, and dated report.

We come to your home to create a complete, reliable, and useful file in order to:

• prepare your sales strategy,
• identify relevant lots,
• facilitate communication with buyers,
• secure the marketing of your items.

Fee: complimentary* The inventory is free when you entrust us with the sale of the listed items. Without a sales mandate, the service is billed €500 excl. VAT (photographs, descriptions, replacement values, and signed report).

Insurance Inventory

The insurance inventory is a file designed to document and value your items (artworks, jewellery, design pieces, collections) in order to provide a clear basis for your coverage with an insurance company. It certifies the nature, condition, and replacement value of the inventoried items.

We provide:

• high-quality photographs for each item,
• a complete description (materials, dimensions, condition, provenance if available),
• a replacement value estimate in line with market standards and insurers’ expectations,
• delivery of a structured, dated, signed, and stamped report by Guette’s Auction.

This document enables you to:

• justify the value of your items in case of theft, loss, or damage,
• facilitate the declaration to your insurer,
• obtain appropriate and up-to-date coverage.

Fee: upon quotation (minimum €500 excl. VAT).
