Gustave Helinck (1884-1954) was a Belgian painter from Flanders, active mainly in the early and mid-twentieth century. He excelled in Flemish landscapes, seascapes and scenes of the river Lys, often bathed in soft light and expressive brushwork. He also produced still lifes and a number of bouquets in generous, colorful materials. His work, regularly exhibited at public auctions in Belgium, reflects a decorative style typical of Flemish regional painting of his time.
