Moerenhout Paul (XX) - Set of six Brutalist wall elements in - Lot 43
Moerenhout Paul (XX) - Set of six Brutalist wall elements in gilded brass
Six wall sculptures in cut, brazed and gilded brass, forming a stylized plant motif. Soldered leaves and beaded edges are characteristic of Paul Moerenhout's work of the 1960s-1970s. Each element is mounted on a wall-mounting plate and bears the signature "Moerenhout".
Traces of electrification are visible, but the set has not been tested.
Good overall condition; some wear and micro-scratches to gilding, slight deformations from use on some leaves, superficial oxidation; electricity untested, wiring to be planned before use.
