Pair of small covered vases in Dresden porcelain, with gold background and landscape-painted reserves, swan-head handles, Germany, work by the Dresden workshops, circa 1900 1930
Each baluster-shaped piece on a pedestal is entirely enhanced with matte and bright gold, and encircled by a large circular reserve finely hand-painted with landscape scenes. The side handles take the form of swan heads, a frequent motif in Saxon decorative production at the turn of the 20th century.
Dimensions: 15x 9 cm
Good overall condition; slight wear and micro-scratches to the gilding, minor wear marks.
