Belgian Brutalist sideboard in wenge (XX century) Low sidebo - Lot 4
Belgian Brutalist sideboard in wenge (XX century) Low sideboard, in the spirit of De Coene
Brutalist-style low sideboard in wenge wood, with a front punctuated by panels of concentric circles in slight relief. The whole unit rests on a continuous brushed metal base, accentuating the furniture's massive, architectural appearance. A compartmentalized interior with shelves and storage modules, visible in the photograph, suggests a multi-purpose use (crockery, bar or domestic storage). Belgian production from the 1970's, in the spirit of De Coene designs, with no formal attribution in the absence of markings or labels.
Circa 1970.
Dimensions : W. 214 cm, D. 48 cm.
