In the center, a female face in black and white, frontal and serious, stands out from a profusion of collaged papers, typographic fragments and pictorial gestures. A green hummingbird, captured in full movement, skims the scene like a light apparition, while flowers, feathers and graphic elements orbit the portrait. The pink border and bursts of bright color contrast with the dark density of the collage, creating a tension between softness and clash, intimate and decorative.
