Laurent Yvon (1984)- Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm) - Lot 38
Laurent Yvon (1984)- Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm)
Portrait of a woman in grisaille, head tilted, gaze closed, as if absorbed in an inner thought.
The face is covered in fine, fragmented writing, which becomes texture and memory.
The portrait's torn outline contrasts with a highly colored, gestural, almost cosmic background.
A strong contrast between the model's silence and the agitation of the material.
An intimate piece, between confession and apparition.
