Laurent Yvon (1984) - Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm) - Lot 49
Laurent Yvon (1984) - Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm)
Stylized portrait of a blond woman, with thick black contours and blue eyes.
Geometrically flat construction, like a contemporary stained-glass window.
Background of paper cut-outs, between posters and colored fragments.
The effect is one of assumed naiveté, but tension in the face and the angle of the lines.
A pop icon, between innocence and confusion.
