Laurent Yvon (1984) - Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm) - Lot 56
Laurent Yvon (1984) - Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm)
Cubist portrait in black, constructed in faceted lines, with words inscribed in the face.
Background composed of pictorial fragments and papers, alternating calm and lively zones.
Large black calligraphic gestures cross the sheet like a signature of energy.
The facial expression remains enigmatic, almost hieratic.
A structured piece, somewhere between drawing and narrative collage.
