Laurent Yvon (1984) - Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm) - Lot 59
Laurent Yvon (1984) - Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm)
Character with hallucinatory gaze, yellow eyes, theatrical pose, hand under face.
The background is composed of columns of black text, like torn newspaper pages.
A printed excerpt ( Rien de tel que quelques heures passées à l'ombre ) serves as a banner.
Purple scribbles and cut-outs accentuate the idea of joyful madness.
A biting, funny and disquieting piece.
