Laurent Yvon (1984) - Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm) - Lot 62
Laurent Yvon (1984) - Collage on paper (30 x 40 cm)
Front face fragmented into solid colors (yellow, blue, red), on a newspaper background.
Large black writings and scribbles encircle and cross out the image.
The word GITANE appears at the bottom, like a leftover poster or slogan.
The blue eyes dominate the composition, very magnetic.
An urban work, part portrait, part hijacked advertisement, part graphic scream.
