Cees Braakman for Pastoe large "Boomerang" desk in teak vene - Lot 9
Cees Braakman for Pastoe large "Boomerang" desk in teak veneer, light lacquered intermediate shelf and bent metal rod legs, circa 1950 60
Modernist double pedestal desk, each side opening with three drawers with rectangular handles; curved top forming a typical asymmetrical "boomerang" line. The structure rests on four V-shaped metal rod legs, giving it a very light appearance. This model is attributed to Cees Braakman's post-war Pastoe productions, marked by the search for organic lines and economical assemblies. It offers a comfortable work surface and generous storage space.
