Carpet with geometric decoration centered on a large angular blue medallion on a brick-red background, framed by ivory spandrels. The field is enriched with stylized floral motifs and Caucasian-inspired palmettes. Wide main border decorated with flowers and geometric elements, framed by secondary braids. Contrasting palette of red, blue, ivory and touches of brown.
Hand-knotted, wool velvet on cotton foundation.
