Vintage lithograph on art paper, after the original watercolor of 1920, signed "HEROUARD" in the plate lower left.
A gallant, satirical scene depicting an elegant woman in a corset, accompanied by her chambermaid, while a putti, or Cupid, and an imp tug at the lace, in the Art Deco spirit of the Roaring Twenties.
Circa 1933 edition, from Le Corset dans l'art et les mœurs du XIIIe au XXe siècle, Fernand Libron collection.
Framed under glass, fine blackened wood rod. Archival label on back with title, artist and collection.
