Glazed porcelain teapot with a turquoise-green base dotted with white polka dots, featuring a polychrome design of birds among peonies and foliage within a lobed cartouche accented with gilding. High, removable handle made of woven rattan or bamboo. Marked “MADE IN JAPAN” under the lid.

Some signs of use on the interior and wear on the handle; in good overall condition.
